What Is Showdown?
Showdown is a platform for competitive, skill-based gaming. Players can join duels or tournaments, compete in supported games, and receive rewards when they win according to the event rules.
Showdown currently centers on:
- Chess competitions
- Counter-Strike 2 competitions
- Head-to-head duels
- Multi-player tournaments
- Entry-fee prize pools
- Sponsor-funded prize pools
- Hybrid prize pools that combine sponsor funding with player entry fees
What Makes Showdown Different
Showdown combines familiar gaming flows with transparent payment and settlement rails.
Players should be able to answer three questions before joining:
- What am I playing?
- What do I need to pay or connect?
- What happens if I win, lose, cancel, or the event does not start?
The product is designed around making those answers visible in the tournament or duel page.

What Showdown Is Not
Showdown is not a game of chance platform. Results are expected to come from player skill and verified match outcomes. Users must not join paid competitions where doing so is restricted by law, platform rules, age requirements, or local regulation.
