Is Showdown free to use?

Some events are free. Others require an entry fee or wallet action. Always check the event page before joining.

What games does Showdown support?

Showdown currently focuses on chess and Counter-Strike 2.

Do I need a wallet?

You need a wallet for Solana-backed events, prize claims, refunds, and some sponsored or hybrid flows. Some non-paid or off-chain flows may not require a wallet.

What is a hybrid tournament?

A hybrid tournament has both a sponsor-funded prize pool and player entry fees.

What happens if not enough players join?

The tournament may be cancelled or marked as not enough teams. Eligible paid participants may be able to claim a refund depending on the payment flow.

Can I unregister?

Some events allow unregistering before a cutoff. After the cutoff or after start, unregistering may not be available.

How are winners paid?

For supported Solana tournaments, winners may claim rewards through a wallet transaction after finalization. Other flows may settle through platform-managed systems.

What if something looks wrong?

Capture the tournament or match ID, wallet address if relevant, transaction signature if relevant, screenshots, and a short description. Submit it through the support or dispute process.
