Disputes Policy

Users can dispute a match, tournament, payment, refund, or reward claim when they believe something was incorrect.

What To Include

A useful dispute report should include:

  • User account ID or profile
  • Tournament or match ID
  • Wallet address if relevant
  • Transaction signature if relevant
  • Screenshots or recordings
  • Game account identity
  • Short timeline of what happened

Common Dispute Types

  • Incorrect match result
  • Missing server or lobby information
  • Opponent no-show
  • Check-in issue
  • Failed wallet transaction
  • Refund not available
  • Prize claim not working
  • Suspected cheating or collusion

Resolution Options

Depending on the evidence, Showdown may:

  • Keep the result unchanged
  • Correct a result
  • Re-run or reschedule a match
  • Cancel a match or tournament
  • Issue or enable a refund
  • Disqualify a player or team
  • Restrict an account

Timing

Disputes should be submitted as soon as possible. Delayed disputes may be harder to verify and may not be eligible for correction after finalization.
