Users can dispute a match, tournament, payment, refund, or reward claim when they believe something was incorrect.
What To Include
A useful dispute report should include:
- User account ID or profile
- Tournament or match ID
- Wallet address if relevant
- Transaction signature if relevant
- Screenshots or recordings
- Game account identity
- Short timeline of what happened
Common Dispute Types
- Incorrect match result
- Missing server or lobby information
- Opponent no-show
- Check-in issue
- Failed wallet transaction
- Refund not available
- Prize claim not working
- Suspected cheating or collusion
Resolution Options
Depending on the evidence, Showdown may:
- Keep the result unchanged
- Correct a result
- Re-run or reschedule a match
- Cancel a match or tournament
- Issue or enable a refund
- Disqualify a player or team
- Restrict an account
Timing
Disputes should be submitted as soon as possible. Delayed disputes may be harder to verify and may not be eligible for correction after finalization.
