Eligibility Policy

Users are responsible for making sure they are allowed to use Showdown and join paid competitions.

Basic Eligibility

To participate, a user must:

• Meet the minimum age requirement in their jurisdiction
• Be legally allowed to join skill-based paid competitions
• Use their own account and wallet
• Provide accurate game identity information
• Comply with game publisher rules and Showdown rules

Restricted Participation

A user may be blocked or restricted if:

• Their jurisdiction restricts paid competitions
• Their account is flagged for fraud, cheating, abuse, or sanctions risk
• They attempt to use multiple accounts to gain advantage
• They are unable to verify required wallet or game identity ownership

Organizer Eligibility

Organizers may be required to meet additional requirements before creating sponsored or paid events. Showdown may remove or cancel organizer-created events that violate product or platform rules.
